The Mina Classic Black hair cutting scissors are the black partner to Mina Classic Pastel Pink: the same classic handle and the same SUS440C stainless steel, hardened to 58 HRC, with a convex edge blade. They're an easy first professional pair for students, new stylists and barbers and a light, dependable spare for the station.
The convex edge slides through hair for point cutting, slide cutting and clean blunt lines, wet or dry. The classic handle keeps both rings level for a balanced, familiar grip, and the adjustable tension dial lets you set the blades the way you like them.

The scissors took about 1.5 months to arrive, but the quality is very good. They are sharp and work well, so I'm happy with the purchase despite the long delivery time.
I checked the reviews before making my purchase. Lots of positive experiences so I went ahead and placed an order. I Unfortunately did not have a great experience. When My scissors hasn't arrived after a week , and checking the tracking number, I contacted the company. They apologised and said it would be sent as a priority and would send an email co firming that. A few days go by, no email and the tracking number still hasn't moved. I email again. Again an apology and more assurance it would be sent priority. They arrived 3 weeks after. When I did finally receive them, the scissors had a dent in the blade. I emailed again, sent photos and they responded saying they would check on it and get back to me asap. That was a week ago. I'm not going to chase it up, I have wasted enough time. Definitely won't buy from nor recommend this company.

Fantastic that both scissors cut easily. However, for the trimming scissors, there seems to black specks falling out of the trimming area…
For some who isn’t a hair dresser and left handed. They still cut amazingly. Just make sure to not cut with them upside down 😂

Early days, however, first impressions are of a well-balanced pair of scissors providing a crisp cut. A similar experience with the thinning scissors. The Mina Umi Hairdressing Scissor Set has been purchased for home use and is a significant improvement over the previous local shop scissors.
