The Juntetsu Swivel Offset is a Japanese VG-10 hair cutting scissor with a rotating swivel thumb ring, a hand-honed convex edge, and a hand-adjustable tension dial. It is available in 5.5, 6.0 and 6.5 inch sizes for right-handed cutting.

On a fixed handle the thumb has to follow the blade, which often pushes the elbow up and rotates the wrist over the course of a cut.
